McAfee Endpoint Encryption

Prevent data loss using a comprehensive range of powerful encryption solutions

Next Steps:

Overview

McAfee Endpoint Encryption solutions use industry-leading encryption algorithms and offer multiple layers of data protection that address specific risk areas. Encryption is extended to desktop PCs, laptops, network files and folders, removable media, and USB storage devices. Endpoint Encryption allows you to transparently secure a broader scope of confidential information including customer data, intellectual property, legal and financial records, and employee communications with no system performance degradation.

Centralized management — McAfee Endpoint Encryption solutions leverage the award-winning McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) platform for granular control, automated security reporting, monitoring, deployment, and shared policy administration. Administrators can easily customize encryption settings and grant or prohibit access by individuals or user groups. Auditing capabilities make it simpler to demonstrate compliance with internal and external security requirements.

Integration and lower TCO — Centralized management and integrated solutions make it easy and cost-effective for companies, while ensuring consistent and persistent endpoint security across the enterprise.

McAfee Endpoint Encryption for PCs — Full disk encryption prevents exposure of sensitive data on laptops and desktop computers (especially in the event of PC loss or theft) with transparent encryption; enforce strong access control with two- and three-factor, pre-boot authentication.

McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Mac — Full disk encryption prevents unauthorized access to sensitive data on Apple Mac OS X laptops with transparent encryption, strong access control, and pre-boot authentication.

McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders — Automatically encrypt files and folders as they are shared or moved through an organization; scale to support a virtually unlimited number of users; prevent unauthorized access to data on PCs, laptops, network servers, and removable media.

McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Removable Media (Extension to File/Folder) — Secures information saved on removable devices and media that can connect to enterprise endpoints; read, edit, and save encrypted data on USB storage devices, CDs and DVDs without installing any software.

Let’s face it, threats have gotten much more complex; like complex mechanisms they use multiple, consecutive methods to attack. At McAfee, our research teams continually analyze the threat landscape, and define threats in terms of their attack mechanisms, which consistently fall into four categories. First malware needs a way to come in contact with unsuspecting Read more...
